Collection of External Certificates
KNEC
KNEC certificates are collected upon release, which typically occurs two years after the last examination. For certificate-level students, the certificate will be processed two years after they complete their Module II exam. Diploma-level students will receive their certificates two years after completing Module III.
Note: All certificate students who progress to diploma level must pay an exemption fee for their certificate to be processed and released. This fee is due upon the release of their series certificate.
ICM
The certificate is issued after passing all units required for the qualifying level. This means that the certificate will be released once the last exam is passed, and it will be accompanied by a transcript detailing all units and their grades.
NITA
Certificates are released one year after the student has passed their trade examination. Thus, for any trade area where a student has passed, they will receive their final certificate one year after the release date.
ABMA
Certificates are usually issued 6 to 9 months after the student passes any level for which they have taken and passed the exam.
